'Sandthorn' (Lawrence Ransom, R. 2011). Seedling 97/24-4SA. AB (RB-), 32" (81 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards cream-yellow veined and edged light yellow; cream-yellow style arms, golden yellow crests; falls light yellow center ground shaded and veined ochre-brown blending to golden yellow edge, shoulders more solidly shaded ochre-brown and veined cinnamon brown; beards burnt orange on violet base, violet horns with orange hairs; light purple foliage base. Two branches, up to six buds. 'Eastern Dusk' X 'Thornbird'. Iris au Trescols 2011.
